Our Values

Children are precious gifts from God. Every child is unique in their talents and personality. Our goal is to create a place where we can learn more about our Creator in a fun and tangible way.

Our playgroup is open to all children, regardless of nationality or religious affiliation. We are looking forward to meeting you :-)

We believe that children need reliable and loving relationships in order to develop healthily. They need the love and security of their family, but also the freedom to choose their own play and learning experiences. In our playgroup, we ensure a loving and stable environment and plenty of opportunities to embark on discovery journeys together.

Growing

Every child grows at their own pace and that's a good thing.

We accompany the various growth processes with an encouraging and supportive attitude.

Our playgroup offers a safe place to take the first steps out of family and into new relationships. Learning to fit into a group with fixed rules promotes the child's social skills and strengthens their self-esteem and self-confidence.

Imagination and creativity are encouraged through painting, making music, role-playing games, handicrafts and experimenting. Opportunities to jump, run, balance, climb and slide support gross motor development processes. There is a wide range of practice for fine motor skills while cooking, doing jigsaw puzzles, painting, handicrafts, etc.

Playing

"Playing is the only way to really understand."

Frederic Vester, biochemist and systems researcher.

The most important educational element for children is free play.

In early childhood, the focus is on physical, not intellectual learning. Babies and toddlers learn with their bodies. The sensory experiences from the child's everyday life form the prerequisite for abstract learning.

We offer children a stimulating environment in which they can observe, knead, experiment, play, sing, romp, cook and slip into different roles.

Dirty clothes included ;-)

Singing & Storytelling

Singing together supports language acquisition and a sense of community. If verses are combined with music and physical movement, the language-promoting aspect is intensified.

Hearing stories supports language development, empathy, stimulates children's imagination and is an important tool for conveying values. In stories, children are confronted with different models of behavior that reflect binding norms and values of a society.

Telling stories expands children's vocabulary and can thus help children learn to express their own feelings better.
